Job summary

Salesian School is seeking a dynamic Careers Coordinator to support the Careers Lead in delivering a high-impact programme across two sites. You will design and co-deliver engaging events, co-host assemblies, manage the careers pages and social channels, and build external partnerships with employers and parents.

You will coordinate 1:1 guidance, oversee work experience, track destinations, and report metrics while inspiring Year 7–13 students to navigate their future paths within a Catholic

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating careers or guidance activities in a school setting.
• Knowledge of Gatsby Benchmarks and statutory guidance for schools.
• Strong written and verbal communication and event planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate 1:1 student guidance appointments across years 7–13.
• Plan and deliver major annual events (interviews, fairs, university trips).
• Lead work experience programmes and liaise with staff, parents and heads of year.
• Maintain student destinations data using Unifrog and Compass+.
• Manage careers pages, LinkedIn/Instagram presence and newsletters.
• Create and curate weekly Careers Newsletter and update Labour Market Information displays.
• Engage employers, alumni and volunteers to build partnerships.
• Provide general team support as required by the Careers Lead.
