Job summary

Harris Girls' Academy East Dulwich is seeking an Attendance and Admissions Officer to join a committed team. You will oversee attendance policies, monitor daily attendance and coordinate with parents and carers.

The role also covers admissions coordination and induction events with Local Authority involvement. The successful candidate will have a degree-level qualification, experience with MIS for attendance data, and a background in inner-city education.

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification or equivalent.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with MIS for attendance data input/output.
• Three years’ experience in an inner-city school or educational setting.
• Experience working with diverse student backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Oversee attendance and punctuality policies and development.
• Monitor attendance daily and follow up as needed.
• Contact parents/caregivers about absence and record reasons.
• Monitor attendance of children in care or on the vulnerable list; report daily.
• Act as main contact for Admissions, Transition and Induction events with key stakeholders.
