Job summary

Ringway is seeking a Structures Manager to lead a diverse portfolio of bridge, culvert and structural maintenance schemes across the Kent network. The role involves directing the structures team, delivering projects to schedule, budget and safety standards on a high-profile contract.

You will oversee project managers, maintain client relationships and drive performance across a growing portfolio, from minor maintenance to major schemes valued over £2 million.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering structures, bridges, culverts or highways infrastructure projects.
• Strong stakeholder management and client-facing experience.
• Knowledge of commercial management and project controls.
• Experience managing teams and driving performance.
• Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or related background.
• Full UK driving licence.

Working on a high-profile contract, you'll play a key role in developing and delivering projects ranging from minor maintenance works through to major structures schemes worth over £2 million.

The Role

As Structures Manager, you will be responsible for leading and developing the structures team, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with client expectations. You will oversee operational delivery, manage stakeholder relationships and provide leadership across a growing portfolio of work.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the Structures Team across maintenance and improvement schemes.
• Managing Project Managers and Supervisors delivering bridge and structures projects.
• Maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships.

About You

We are keen to speak with candidates who have experience within highways, civil engineering or structures environments and can demonstrate strong leadership capability.

You'll ideally have:

• Experience managing teams and driving performance.
• A Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or related background.
• A full UK driving licence.
