We are working with a well-established and highly regarded engineering consultancy in Bristol, known for their collaborative approach, high-quality structural design work, and long-standing client relationships. The team works across a broad range of building projects including commercial, residential, healthcare, and education.

About the role:

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Structural Technician looking to take on more responsibility and have a real voice in project delivery. You’ll be a key part of the design team, producing detailed drawings and models, coordinating with engineers, and playing a hands-on role in delivering a wide variety of projects.

The role offers flexibility, a strong pipeline of work, and the chance to be part of a supportive and social team.

Key responsibilities:

• Producing high-quality structural drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD and Revit
• Working closely with structural engineers to develop coordinated designs
• Attending project meetings and contributing to technical discussions
• Supporting junior technicians and sharing best practice
• Managing workload across multiple live projects

Required skills and experience:

• Proven experience as a Structural Technician within a UK consultancy
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit (BIM Level 2 experience )
• Strong understanding of UK building materials and construction methods
• Good communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving attitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
