Gi Group UK in LE9 is seeking an experienced Steel Fabricator/Welder to join our growing team. You will work on structural steelwork and architectural metalwork, fabricating building frames, stairs, balustrades, canopies, and other bespoke steel projects across the UK.

This is not sheet metalwork. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of fabrication experience, strong MIG welding skills, and the ability to read engineering drawings.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 2 years' fabrication experience.
• Strong MIG welding experience.
• Experience producing 6mm multi-run fillet welds.
• Ability to read and work from engineering drawings.
• Previous structural steel fabrication experience.

Aufgaben

• Fabricating and welding structural steel and architectural metalwork.
• Manufacturing steel building frames, staircases, balustrades, canopies, and bespoke steelwork.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Working independently to tight tolerances and quality standards.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely, accurately, and efficiently.
