Zusammenfassung

SER Limited in South Leicester is seeking an experienced Steel Fabricator / Welder for a full-time, temp-to-perm role in our workshop. You will fabricate and MIG-weld structural steel and architectural metalwork, including frames, stairs, balustrades and canopies, with occasional site fitting and installation.

The role requires at least 2 years in steel fabrication, proficiency in MIG welding (6mm multi-run fillets), and the ability to read engineering drawings to tight tolerances.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 2 years' fabrication experience.
• Experienced with MIG welding, particularly 6mm multi-run fillet welds.
• Able to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Experience working to tight tolerances.
• Structural steel and/or architectural metalwork experience.
• NVQ Level 2 Welding/Fabrication or relevant qualifications would be an advantage.

Aufgaben

• Fabricate and MIG weld structural steel and architectural metalwork.
• Produce steel frames, stairs, balustrades, canopies and other bespoke metalwork.
• Workshop-based role with occasional site work for fitting and installation.
