Job summary

Bilfinger UK Limited is seeking a Structural Steel Supervisor to join our team at High View, Carrington. You will oversee steel erection on a major project, interpret engineering drawings, and supervise lifting operations with MEWPs.

A strong safety focus and hands-on leadership are required. You will carry out Safe Systems of Work, ensure workmanship standards, and manage personnel, reporting to the Superintendent.

Qualifications

• Experience in structural steelwork erection on major projects.
• Ability to interpret engineering construction drawings (NSSS).
• Ability to supervise MEWPS and lifting of steel structures.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and oversee use of MEWPS and lifting operations.
• Develop and monitor Safe Systems of Work.
• Ensure high standards of workmanship and workforce safety.
• Place and manage your crew on site and report to Superintendent or Site Manager.
• Complete trade assessments for personnel at defined intervals.
