Job Description:

Senior Revit Technician for Energy and Power Projects (up to £60k with Hybrid / Remote options)

Our client, a large multidisciplinary design consultancy with UK-wide offices, is working on major energy and power frameworks. They are seeking experienced Revit technicians to support their Energy and Power networks team, which provides technical support for companies like National Grid, SSE, and UKPN on large infrastructure projects.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced Revit Technician to join a supportive team, lead production of Revit Models and CAD drawings, and contribute to all design stages.

Key responsibilities:

1. Produce and supervise coordinated 3D BIM models using Revit.
2. Prepare engineering models and drawings from sketches and design info.
3. Collaborate with external stakeholders, clients, and colleagues across disciplines.
4. Utilize BIM technologies in cloud and managed systems for various project stages.
5. Manage drafting aspects of projects, promoting collaboration.

Experience / Skills / Education:

1. HNC/HND or equivalent in Civil or Structural Engineering preferred.
2. Proven experience as a Revit Technician in the power and energy sector, especially in energy infrastructure projects.
3. Experience in designing substations, switching stations, hubs, or heavy industrial projects.
4. Advanced skills in Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.
5. Familiarity with ISO 19650, BIM templates, and collaborative info management software.
6. Experience with digital platforms like BIM360 is a plus; training will be provided.
