Job Description:

Senior Revit Technician for Energy and Power projects (up to £60k with Hybrid / remote options available)

Our client is a large multidisciplinary design consultancy with offices across the UK. They are involved in major energy and power frameworks, supporting their expanding teams. They are seeking experienced Revit technicians to support their Energy and Power networks team, which provides technical support for companies like National Grid, SSE, and UKPN on large energy infrastructure projects.

This role offers an opportunity for an experienced Revit Technician to join a supportive team, help develop and lead in producing Revit Models and CAD drawings throughout all design stages.

Key responsibilities

• Produce and supervise coordinated 3D BIM models using Revit
• Prepare engineering models & drawings from sketches and design information
• Collaborate with external stakeholders, clients, and internal teams for multidisciplinary delivery
• Utilize BIM technologies in cloud and managed systems to prepare engineering drawings for various project stages
• Manage drafting aspects of projects, driving collaboration

Experience / skills and education required

• HNC/HND (or equivalent) in Civil or Structural Engineering preferred
• Experience as a Revit Technician in the power and energy sector, especially in energy infrastructure projects like substations and industrial projects
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of ISO 19650, BIM templates, and collaborative information management software
• Experience with digital platforms like BIM360 is a plus (training provided)
