A multidisciplined design consultancy seeks a Structural Revit Technician for Energy and Power projects in High Wycombe. You will join a supportive team, responsible for producing and leading the creation of Revit models and CAD drawings for major infrastructure projects, supporting clients like National Grid.

Qualifications

Senior Revit Technician for Energy and Power projects (up to £60k with Hybrid / remote options available)

Our client is a large multidisciplined design consultancy without offices throughout the UK. They are working on major energy and power frameworks that will keep their expanding teams busy for many years. They are currently looking for a number of experienced Revit technicians to support the Energy and Power networks team. The team provides high end technical support for companies like National Grid/ SSE / UKPN for large energy infrastructure projects.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Revit Technician to join a supportive and friendly team and to help develop and lead a team in the production of Revit Models and CAD drawings for all stages of design.

Key responsibilities

• Produce and supervise coordinated 3D BIM models using Revit
• Prepare engineering models & drawings from sketches and design information
• Work closely with key external stakeholders, clients and colleagues from all parts of the business to achieve multidisciplinary delivery outcomes
• Use BIM technologies both in cloud and managed systems to prepare concise engineering drawings for key stages such as conception, planning, tender, building warrant and construction
• Manage the drafting aspects of projects of varying complexity and size, actively driving the collaboration.

Experience / skills and education required

• Ideally gained a HNC/HND (or equivalent) in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Demonstrable experience in Building Structures as a Revit Technician in the power and energy sector
• For this role you must have had experience of producing drawings and models for energy and power related projects eg design of sub stations/ switching stations / hubs etc or in heavy industrial projects.
• Advanced Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
• Experience in the principles of ISO 19650, BIM templates, and use of collaborative information management software
• Experience in working with digital platforms, particularly BIM360 and its collaborative modules (Not essential, training will be provided)
