Job Description:

Our client, a large multidisciplinary design consultancy with no offices throughout the UK, is working on major energy and power frameworks. They are seeking experienced Revit technicians to support their Energy and Power networks team, providing high-end technical support for projects involving companies like National Grid, SSE, and UKPN.

This role offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced Revit Technician to join a supportive team, leading the production of Revit models and CAD drawings across all design stages.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce and supervise coordinated 3D BIM models using Revit
• Prepare engineering models and drawings from sketches and design information
• Collaborate with external stakeholders, clients, and colleagues to achieve multidisciplinary outcomes
• Utilize BIM technologies in cloud and managed systems for various project stages
• Manage drafting aspects of projects, promoting collaboration

Experience, Skills, and Education:

• HNC/HND or equivalent in Civil or Structural Engineering preferred
• Experience as a Revit Technician in the power and energy sector, especially with energy infrastructure projects like substations and industrial facilities
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of ISO 19650 principles, BIM templates, and collaborative information management software
• Experience with digital platforms such as BIM360 is advantageous; training will be provided
