Job description

Structural Revit Technician - Required to join our client who are a nationwide Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy in their London office. The Revit Technician would be working on a variety of multi-storey RC Frame projects on Residential and Commercial Development projects. This is a new role that has arisen as a result of new business with clients within the house developer, and Hospitality sector.

The successful Candidate will have experience in leading the production of Revit models and drawings from scratch to construction and be comfortable liaising directly with wider project team.

Structural Revit Technician Position Overview

1. Assisting and empowering a dynamic team of engineers and technicians dedicated to the success of residential housing projects.
2. Simultaneously managing multiple projects, ensuring each phase is executed punctually and upholds exceptional standards.
3. Proficiently working both autonomously and in collaboration with junior staff, providing meticulous oversight, including thorough examination of drawings.
4. Creating intricate substructure and superstructure drawings and sketches with mastery in Revit and AutoCAD.
5. Delivering regular progress reports to Associates/Partners, fostering transparent communication.
6. Swiftly addressing technical and construction inquiries to maintain project momentum.
7. Actively participating in project and site meetings/inspections.
8. Expertly reviewing and offering insights on third-party designs and drawings to enhance project excellence.

Structural Revit Technician Position Requirements

1. While qualification to HNC level would be a plus, it's not a strict requirement.
2. RC Experience
3. High/Mid Rise experience in Residential projects
4. A minimum of 2 years of pertinent experience
5. Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is a must.
6. A strong emphasis on maintaining high-quality standards while also thriving in a fast-paced, collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment.
7. Demonstrated ability to effectively handle multiple projects concurrently.
8. Experience in building structures and knowledge of steel, concrete, timber, and load-bearing masonry structures would be advantageous.
