Job summary

Recruit4staff is seeking a skilled Plater to join a well-established structural steel fabrication company near Deeside. This role offers a competitive pay of £25 per hour, and opportunities for overtime at £30 per hour. You will be responsible for producing high-quality fabricated steel components as well as fitting and assembling structural steelwork while adhering to safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has experience in MIG welding and the ability to interpret fabrication drawings. Immediate starts are available with free parking on-site.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Structural Steel Plater.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
• MIG welding standards certification.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality fabricated steel components.
• Mark out, fit, and assemble structural steelwork.
• Maintain quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Skills

Proven experience as a Structural Steel Plater

Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings

MIG welding to a coded standard

Reliable with a strong work ethic and commitment to health and safety

Education

Qualifications in Welding & Fabrication or related engineering discipline
