Placements Manager at Apollo Engineering
Provides structural inspection and integrity management support to clients' assets, ensuring compliance with corporate, regulatory, operational, and commercial requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement, maintain, and develop the Structural Integrity Management System on nominated asset(s).
- Serve as the focal point for all structural integrity issues on nominated asset(s).
- Maintain MCDR register (ONE-Aim) and ensure all structural defects are assessed per procedure, with remedial actions to mitigate risk and timely close-out of MCDRs.
- Support Operations by maintaining the RO register and attending monthly RO meetings for structural MCDRs requiring engineering ROs.
- Ensure accuracy of all Structural Integrity KPIs in the Process Safety Dashboard and provide monthly comments on Red and Amber KPIs.
- Verify the accuracy of weekly inspection plans and monthly reports from Inspection Contractors.
- Oversee annual subsea structural inspections, review results, and address anomalies.
- Generate deferrals for inspections not completed by RBI due date, and submit for approval.
- Prepare annual integrity reports analyzing inspection results, MCDRs, maintenance, repairs, and monitoring, with conclusions and recommendations communicated via presentation.
- Support development and maintenance of the Structural Integrity Management System.
- Create inspection work packs for topsides and contribute to subsea workpacks, including ROV survey task lists.
- Assist in structural RBI Assessments and develop annual inspection budgets with monthly spend updates.
- Supervise specialist vendor activities such as caisson inspections, UAV surveys, and differential settlement surveys.
- Ensure compliance with Integrity Management Standards, Safety Management System, and relevant regulations and standards.
- Support communication with regulatory bodies, partners, and external stakeholders, ensuring timely information sharing and compliance.
- Follow up on HSE and IVB audit findings related to structural integrity.
- Conduct routine offshore visits, safety, and technical audits.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
- Degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Chartered Engineer status with an appropriate engineering council registered body.
- Postgraduate or equivalent professional qualification in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Current Offshore Medical, BOSIET, and MIST certifications.
