Job summary

Osprey Group seeks a committed Structural Engineer to support the development, delivery, and continuous improvement of engineering solutions across our project environment. You will work with project leaders and cross-functional teams to ensure design activities, specifications, and technical controls meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.

This role is ideal for applying engineering expertise within a dynamic project setting, with location spanning various sites and a Monday–Friday

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Structural, Civil, Mechanical or related field.
• Extensive experience with Eurocode (EC3) and relevant design standards.
• Experience producing structural calculations using hand methods and FEA.

Responsibilities

• Develop and verify design schemes for bespoke temporary works equipment in heavy transport, marine and installation operations.
• Produce clear design briefs that define project requirements for detailed engineering phases.
• Identify and analyse load cases to ensure structural suitability and compliance.
• Design structurally efficient solutions aligned with project needs and industry standards.
• Ensure designs comply with Eurocodes and Osprey's temporary works procedures.
• Carry out structural calculations using hand methods and FEA, with robust design reports.
