Job summary

Osprey Group is seeking a Project Engineer to support the delivery of technical and operational activities within a major project environment. You will work with the Project Manager and the wider engineering team to ensure all project engineering tasks, coordination efforts, and technical deliverables are executed safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards.

Location - Various Locations. Work Rotation - Monday-Friday.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering-related discipline (Masters desirable).
  • Experience on large-scale construction projects.
  • Experience in heavy lift transport, shipping or lifting markets with evidence of delivering targets.
  • Experience with lifting operations using mobile cranes, tower cranes and crawler cranes.
  • Client-facing experience as an Engineer.
  • Experience with technical codes and standards.
  • Experience with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Use your expertise to devise smart engineering solutions for heavy lifting and transportation projects.
  • Develop drawings, calculations, visualisations, manuals, risk assessments and other key documents.
  • Ensure efficient execution that delivers the right results for the customer with particular focus on safety and quality.
  • Conduct site visits providing conceptual solutions for lifting operations.
  • Act as a point of contact for the customer and site operation team.
  • Ensure high levels of document quality and document control throughout the lifecycle of the project.

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Project Engineer to support the successful delivery of technical and operational activities within our major project environment.
