Job summary

Arup Bristol Structures is seeking a motivated Structural Engineer to join our established team in Bristol. You will work in a multi-disciplinary environment, delivering technically challenging projects for local and national clients in the built environment.

You will collaborate with colleagues across disciplines, help mentor apprentices, and contribute to sustainable design with Eurocode standards. Visa sponsorship is not offered; rights to work in the UK are required.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate through sketching, drawing, presentations and report writing.
• Degree or equivalent in structural/civil engineering (BEng/MEng).
• Candidate to be or aiming to be chartered through ICE/IStructE.
• Experience with Eurocode design for concrete/steel framed buildings; timber/masonry knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Combine engineering knowledge and digital skills to produce efficient designs.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, MEP engineers and other technical specialists.
• Collaborate with structural team to produce drawings, specifications and deliverables to high quality, on time and to budget.
• Work with the project manager to plan and deliver the work.
• Work with Revit technicians to develop 3D models and drawings.
• Supervise and aid the development of apprentices and graduates.
