Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is working with a forward-thinking structural and civil engineering consultancy in Central London, seeking a Structural Engineer to join on a permanent, hybrid basis. You’ll work on refurbishment, retrofit and complex existing structures, with opportunities to take ownership and develop client-facing skills.

You will contribute to projects from concept through to detailed design, collaborating with architects, contractors and developers, and advancing your career towards

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified structural engineer with consultancy background.
• Experience refurbishing or working on existing structures.
• Strong grasp of structural design principles and materials.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.
• Ambition to progress towards chartership and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead refurbishment and retrofit projects from concept to delivery.
• Alterations to existing structures and structural investigations.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors and developers.
• Manage projects and maintain client relationships.
• Contribute to residential and commercial developments.
• Support on new-build projects where appropriate.
• Take ownership and develop technical and client-facing skills.
