Energy Jobline CVL is working with a forward-thinking structural and civil engineering consultancy in Central London, seeking a Structural Engineer to join on a permanent, hybrid basis. You’ll work on refurbishment, retrofit and complex existing structures, with opportunities to take ownership and develop client-facing skills.

You will contribute to projects from concept through to detailed design, collaborating with architects, contractors and developers, and advancing your career towards

Qualifikationen

• Degree-qualified structural engineer with consultancy background.
• Experience refurbishing or working on existing structures.
• Strong grasp of structural design principles and materials.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.
• Ambition to progress towards chartership and leadership.

Aufgaben

• Lead refurbishment and retrofit projects from concept to delivery.

I’m currently working with a forward-thinking structural and civil engineering consultancy based near London Bridge, who are looking to add a Structural Engineer to their growing team.

This is a particularly interesting opportunity for an engineer who enjoys working on refurbishment, retrofit and complex existing structures, rather than purely repetitive new-build schemes.

The role

• Refurbishment and retrofit
• Alterations to existing structures
• Structural assessments and investigations
• Cut-and-carve projects
• Residential and commercial developments
• Extensions and change-of-use projects
• New-build projects where appropriate
• Working closely with architects, contractors, developers and other consultants
• Taking projects from concept through to detailed design and delivery

There will be plenty of opportunity to get involved technically, take ownership of projects and develop your client-facing skills as you progress.
