Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural design and analysis.
• Proficiency in structural analysis software: SAP2000, Prokon, Revit Structure.
• Solid understanding of concrete and steel and construction methods.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication for collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for buildings, bridges, and other infrastructure using advanced software tools.
• Develop detailed structural drawings, calculations, and specifications for construction.
• Ensure designs comply with current standards and building codes (SANS referenced in ad, or applicable codes).
• Collaborate with project teams to integrate structural designs with architectural and other engineering disciplines.
• Conduct site inspections during construction to verify adherence to design documents.
• Provide technical support to address construction challenges throughout the project lifecycle in East London.
