Role: Structural Engineer

Location: Nottingham

Salary: £40,000 to £48,000

Our client is a market leading multi-disciplined consultant with a long history of providing façade solutions for large and complex projects, both in the UK and internationally.

They are seeking a Structural Engineer to join their award-winning Structural Design Team, based in Nottingham. This is a great opportunity with a supportive business, offering a rewarding and busy sector.

About the Structural Engineer role:

• Undertake structural engineering design and analysis for façade projects.
• Check work from external structural engineering consultants.
• Create standard calculations within TEDDS.
• Visit sites as necessary.
• Stay updated with latest design standards and façade industry products.
• Assist with façade surveys for existing buildings.

About you:

Seeking a practical and technically skilled Structural Engineer with at least 5 years’ experience in a consultancy, supporting larger residential and commercial structures. Experience in façade design is a plus.

Candidates should demonstrate:

• Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering, working towards Chartered status.
• Portfolio of relevant design work, including façades.
• Knowledge of CDM and health & safety standards.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage workloads.
• Desire for professional development.
• Full UK Driving License; vehicle access preferred.
