elb recruit is helping a specialist consultancy in Cheshire to recruit a Structural Engineer. The role involves inspections, real-time digital reporting, and developing repair specifications across a diverse project portfolio.

We seek a Civil/Structural Engineering graduate with several years of post-graduate inspection experience, strong IT and communication skills, and a proactive approach. A full UK driving licence is required; flexible full-/part-time options are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Several years of post-graduate experience focused on structural inspections and defect analysis.
• Solid understanding of traditional and modern construction methods.
• Excellent communication and IT skills with digital reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed inspections of a wide range of structures from traditional to modern builds.
• Produce accurate, site-based digital reports.
• Develop specifications for repair and remedial works.
• Support insurance-related assessments including subsidence and structural damage.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and provide regular project updates.
• Contribute ideas to improve processes and the use of technology.
