Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is recruiting a Structural Engineer for a South Manchester role with 2 to 3 days from home. Salary is around £40k-£50k with a benefits package and clear progression opportunities in a busy civil/structural consultancy.

The successful candidate will have 4+ years of buildings design experience, deliver detailed analyses and specifications, and be proficient in ETABS, TSD and Tedds, with hand calculations considered advantageous. A hybrid working arrangement is offered.

Responsibilities

We are pleased to be recruiting a structural engineer on behalf of a well established civil structural consultancy south of Manchester with an established team of civil, structural and geotechnical engineers working on a diverse portfolio of buildings projects operating in a mix of sectors including commercial, residential, industrial, education, health, leisure. About you and the role

• You will be a structural engineer with 4 yrs+ buildings design background on a mix of projects designing efficient and sustainable building solutions (steel/concretetimber/masonary).
• Producing detailed designs, calculations and specifications
• Proficient in the use of software such as TSD, Tedds, Etabs etc (hand calcs desirable)
• Excellent trainaing and progression opportunity and chartership support
• Progression path to senior and managing projects/clients
