Job summary

Arup is seeking a Structural Engineer in Leeds who is progressing toward Chartership, to contribute to a diverse range of projects within the Property, Science and Industry team. You will work on local, national and international projects from concept design through to practical completion, in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.

Qualifications

Be degree qualified in Civil/Structural Engineering and working toward Chartership via IStructE/ICE or equivalent.
Developing understanding of engineering principles and use of design software packages.
Developing experience with Eurocode or equivalent.
Ability to work on own initiative and support team members.
Good understanding of digital workflows.

Responsibilities

Support the Arup team in structural engineering design of projects.
Take responsibility for discrete packages of structural engineering work.
Communicate through sketching, drawings, presentations and writing.
Review own and others’ work and provide constructive feedback.
Meet deadlines and manage priorities.
