Responsibilities

• Livrer des conceptions structurelles détaillées en utilisant acier, béton, bois et maçonnerie.
• Participer à l'ensemble du cycle de projet, de la faisabilité à la construction.
• Assister aux réunions avec les clients et gérer les exigences du projet.

Structural Engineer – Multi-Disciplinary Consultancy

Location: Bradford

Type: Permanent | Full-time

A leading independent engineering consultancy is looking to recruit an experienced Structural Engineer to join its expanding design team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious engineer who wants to take on varied projects, grow their technical expertise, and be part of a friendly, well-established practice with a strong pipeline of work.

The firm works across a diverse range of sectors including residential, commercial, education, conservation, and industrial, offering innovative and sustainable design solutions for both new-build and refurbishment schemes.

Role Responsibilities

• Deliver detailed structural designs using steel, concrete, timber, and masonry
• Contribute to the full project lifecycle – from feasibility and concept design to construction support and site visits
• Work closely with internal civils, geo-environmental, and architectural teams to ensure integrated project delivery
• Produce calculations, technical drawings, and reports for planning and construction
• Attend client meetings, liaise with contractors, and manage ongoing project requirements
• Support less experienced engineers and contribute to quality assurance procedures

Candidate Requirements

• Degree-qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering (MEng/BEng)
• Minimum 3 years’ UK consultancy experience in structural design
• Familiarity with design software such as Tekla Structural Designer, TEDDS, and AutoCAD/Revit
• Knowledge of Eurocodes and British Standards
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ideally chartered or working toward chartership (IStructE or ICE)
