I am currently looking for a Contract Structural Engineer to join an experienced team working on refurbishment projects across Surrey — project values range from £2M to £10M.

You’ll need solid experience in refurb and alteration work, and be confident designing with timber, steel, concrete, and masonry. Projects are varied - residential, commercial, and mixed-use.

What you’ll be doing:

• Hands-on involvement from site visits to final design
• Collaborating with architects, contractors, and clients

What we’re after:

• Comfortable working independently
• Somebody who does not require sponsorship

This is outside IR35, paying £40/hr, with flexible working and an immediate start available. It will be for a initial 6 month contract however, this may get extended.
