Unknown is seeking a Structural Engineer to join a growing engineering consultancy on building structures projects across the UK. The role suits someone with 2–5 years’ experience in a UK structural consultancy and a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.

You’ll design building structures, perform analyses, produce drawings with AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla, and Mathcad, visit sites, and progress toward Chartered Engineer status (IStructE or ICE).

I’m currently working with a growing engineering consultancy that is looking to hire a Structural Engineer to join their team working on a variety of building structures projects across the UK.

This is a great opportunity for someone with 2–5 years’ experience within a UK structural consultancy who wants to take the next step in their career and gain exposure to a broad range of projects across sectors including residential, commercial, retail, logistics and technology.

You’ll be joining a collaborative and supportive engineering team where you’ll have the chance to develop technically, take on increasing responsibility, and work towards Chartered status.

The Role

As a Structural Engineer, you will support the design and delivery of building structures from concept through to construction.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing structural solutions for a range of building projects
• Carrying out structural analysis and design calculations
• Producing drawings and technical documentation using design software
• Working with tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla and Mathcad
• Coordinating with architects, contractors and multidisciplinary teams
