Clear Wave Search is partnering with a leading renewable energy developer to appoint a proactive and detail-oriented Paralegal.

The client develops large-scale solar and battery storage projects across the UK, Canada, Italy and Germany.

Working closely with the General Counsel & legal team, this role offers hands‑on involvement in the legal and commercial lifecycle of utility‑scale solar and battery storage projects – from project development and planning to construction and operation.

It’s an exciting opportunity to contribute to the UK’s clean energy transition while developing a broad legal skillset in a fast‑paced, mission‑driven environment.

The workload will be diverse, and you’ll need to be responsive and adaptable to changing business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with reviewing and drafting commercial agreements, including NDAs, consultancy contracts, and service agreements.
• Support corporate governance processes, including board resolutions, filings, and document management.
• Help prepare materials for investment committees and internal approvals.
• Conduct legal research on energy regulation, planning frameworks, and corporate law.
• Liaise with external counsel and internal stakeholders to support project delivery.
• Maintain contract trackers and support compliance monitoring across the portfolio.
• Provide general administrative and legal support to the in‑house legal team.

What We’re Looking For

• Law degree or equivalent legal qualification.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Proactive, curious, and eager to learn in a fast‑paced environment.
• Interest in renewable energy, infrastructure, or corporate law.
• Previous paralegal or legal admin experience.
• Renewable energy sector experience is desired, but not essential.
