Job summary

Mane Energy is seeking an experienced Structural Detailer to join our team in South Yorkshire. The role focuses on producing accurate 3D Tekla models, fabrication drawings and construction documentation for a varied portfolio of complex structural steel, bridge and architecturally exposed steelwork projects.

• Proven track record as a Structural Steel Detailer.
• Strong Tekla Structures experience.
• Good understanding of structural steel fabrication and detailing.
• Ability to interpret engineering and architectural drawings accurately.
• Excellent attention to detail and precision.
• Able to work independently and within a project team.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed 3D Tekla models for structural steelwork.
• Prepare fabrication, construction and erection drawings.
• Develop fabrication packages including material lists and NC data.
• Interpret and cross-check structural and architectural drawings.
• Coordinate with clients and design teams to resolve queries.
• Manage drawing revisions and project documentation.
• Identify design changes and support project commercials.
• Work to project programmes, deadlines and quality standards.

Job description

We're working with an established structural steel specialist that is looking to strengthen its team with an experienced Structural Detailer.

This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-focused Tekla professional to work on a varied portfolio of complex structural steel, bridge and architecturally exposed steelwork projects across a range of sectors.

The Role

You'll be responsible for producing accurate 3D Tekla models, fabrication drawings and construction documentation, working closely with project teams, clients and design teams to deliver technically accurate and practical detailing solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

• Producing detailed 3D Tekla models for structural steelwork.
• Preparing fabrication, construction and erection drawings.
• Developing fabrication packages, including material lists and NC data.
• Interpreting structural and architectural drawings and specifications.
• Liaising with clients and design teams to resolve technical queries.
• Managing drawing revisions and project documentation.
• Identifying design changes and supporting commercial awareness.
• Working to project programmes, deadlines and quality standards.

About You

We're looking for someone with:

• Proven experience as a Structural Steel Detailer.
• Strong Tekla Structures experience.
• Good understanding of structural steel fabrication and detailing.
• Ability to interpret engineering and architectural drawings.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a project team.
• Good commercial awareness and understanding of project changes.

Experience with bridge structures, AESS or complex architectural steelwork would be particularly advantageous.
