Job summary

Novax Recruitment are seeking an experienced Tekla Detailer to join a busy structural steel business delivering projects across commercial, industrial, logistics and infrastructure sectors in the UK. You will produce accurate 3D Tekla models and fabrication drawings, collaborating with engineers and manufacturing teams.

The role suits someone with strong Tekla experience, knowledge of UK standards, and the ability to manage revisions.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Tekla Detailer to join a busy and well-established structural steel business delivering projects across the commercial, industrial, logistics, and infrastructure sectors.

This role is ideal for someone with strong Tekla experience who is looking to work on a varied portfolio of structural steel projects within a supportive and fast-paced environment.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for producing accurate structural steel drawings and detailed fabrication models using Tekla Structures software. You will work closely with engineers, project managers, and fabrication teams to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and to specification.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce detailed 3D Tekla models and fabrication drawings for structural steel projects.
• Prepare GA drawings, assembly drawings, and fabrication details.
• Interpret engineering and architectural drawings accurately.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Tekla Detailer within the structural steel industry.
• Strong proficiency using Tekla Structures software.

• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience working on commercial, industrial, or large-scale steelwork projects.
• Knowledge of BIM processes and 3D coordination.
• Familiarity with UK steelwork standards and regulations.
