Job summary

Mane Contract Services is seeking an experienced Structural Detailer to join our Wombwell-based team. You will produce precise Tekla 3D models and prepare fabrication, construction and erection drawings for a range of steel projects.

Working on bridges, architectural steelwork, and complex installations, you’ll liaise with engineers and clients to resolve technical queries, ensure accuracy, and deliver drawings to programme.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Structural Steel or Tekla Detailer.
• Strong practical experience with Tekla Structures.
• Good understanding of structural steel fabrication and manufacturing.
• Ability to interpret engineering and architectural drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Structural Detailer to join an established structural steel fabrication business based in Wombwell, Barnsley.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse range of technically challenging and high-profile steelwork projects, including bridges, architectural steelwork and complex structural installations.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce accurate 3D models using Tekla Structures
• Prepare fabrication, construction and erection drawings
• Develop complete fabrication packages, including material lists and NC data
• Interpret structural and architectural drawings and specifications
• Liaise with engineers, clients and project teams to resolve technical queries
• Ensure drawings and models are accurate and delivered to programme
• Identify design changes and potential variations

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience as a Structural Steel or Tekla Detailer
• Strong practical experience with Tekla Structures

Experience working on bridges, AESS, complex steel structures or specialist fabrication projects would be highly advantageous.
