Job summary

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is seeking a Structural Design Engineer for a well-established consultancy in Hove. The role offers £32,000–£38,000, and a permanent, full-time contract with exposure to varied residential and commercial projects.

You will perform structural design, calculations, technical reporting and site inspections, working with Senior and Associate Engineers to develop skills and take on more responsibility.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (BEng or MEng).
• Ideally 2+ years' post-graduate experience in a structural engineering consultancy.
• Experience designing building structures using steel, reinforced concrete, timber and masonry.
• Knowledge of UK design standards and structural calculations.

Responsibilities

• Manage incoming sales enquiries and record information.
• Review enquiries for quotation readiness.
• Prepare and submit quotations to clients.
• Follow up on quotations and convert enquiries to projects.
• Maintain CRM data and monitor progress.
• Support proposals, tender documents and client presentations.
• Liaise with internal departments to progress enquiries.
• Coordinate sales meetings and customer updates.
• Develop relationships with clients.
