Wilton Engineering in the Tees Valley is seeking a design engineer with a mechanical, civil or structural design background to contribute to heavy fabrication projects. You will work within a safety‑conscious, quality‑driven team on local and global assignments.

Minimum 2 years’ design engineer experience, awareness of structural codes (DNV, Lloyds, EC3), and proficiency with 3D CAD (Autodesk Inventor/Tekla) and FEA tools (STAAD Pro, ANSYS) are required.

Qualificações

• Minimum 2 years’ design engineer experience.
• Awareness of DNV, Lloyds and EC3 codes.
• Experience with design analysis software (mechanical & structural).
• Degree qualified in Mechanical, Civil or Structural design.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure compliance with procedures, specs and schedules.
• Assist in delivering projects to contractual obligations, specifications, quality and safety requirements.
• Develop load case definitions and basis of design documents.
• Review and approve drawings produced by the draughtsman.
• Proactively capture lessons learned and identify improvements for future design packages.
