Ross-shire Engineering Limited is seeking a Structural Engineer to join the in-house Design team on a permanent basis. You will lead across projects, ensure compliance with client specifications and regulatory standards, and deliver designs for review and approval.

The role requires a degree in engineering, experience in structural detailing, and proficiency with design codes. You will communicate design data to clients and stakeholders, work under pressure, and drive quality in all deliverables.

Qualificações

• Degree in Mechanical, Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Experience of structural steelwork, connection design and detailing.
• Working knowledge of design codes and standards (BS/Eurocodes).
• Analyses of structures for stress and deflection (hand calculations and FEA).
• Knowledge of piping systems would be an advantage.
• Good knowledge of IT packages and systems.
• Ability to work under pressure with attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communications skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

What Are We Looking For?

Our Asset Management business platform is looking for a Structural Engineer to join their in-house Design team on a permanent basis. You will take on a fully supported leading role in all aspects of projects, ensuring compliance with client specifications and current regulatory standards.

Some of Your Key Duties Include:

• Liaise with Client and stakeholders across the business.
• Produce preliminary and detailed designs.
• Compile design specifications.
• Compile reports and communicate design data to the client and others.
• Comply with company quality assurance procedures.
• Complete required deliverables within allocated project time scales.

What Do You Need?

• Degree in Mechanical, Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Experience of structural steelwork, connection design and detailing.
• Working knowledge of design codes and standards preferably relating to structural engineering such as British Standards and Eurocodes.
• Analyses of structures for stress and deflection using both hand calculations and Finite Element Analysis.
• Knowledge of piping systems would be an advantage.

• The ability to work under pressure quickly and accurately with attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communications skills.
