Location and Salary

Base Location: Scottish locations including Glasgow, Perth, Inverness, or Aberdeen

Salary: £50,100 - £75,100 + car/car allowance, performance bonus, and benefits

Working Pattern

Permanent | Full Time | Flexible options available

The Role

As part of SSEN Transmission's Offshore Portfolio, we seek a Structural/Civil OHL Engineer for our Offshore AC Project Engineering team to support Island projects and contribute to a Net Zero network, involving state-of-the-art AC plant and grid technology.

Responsibilities
  1. Design review and development including route selection and diagrams
  2. Promote best practices in OHL design and installation
  3. Manage safety and ensure compliance with CDM and industry standards
  4. Deliver engineering projects valued between £50m and £100m, coordinating with project managers
Candidate Requirements
  1. Experience with transmission network overhead lines, technical assessment skills
  2. Understanding of relevant legislation (CDM, ESQCR)
  3. Strong communication skills for technical and stakeholder engagement
  4. Degree in Mechanical, Civil, or relevant engineering; Chartered status preferred
