Job summary

East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Ward Manager for the Acute Stroke Harbledown Ward. This Band 7 role leads a 24-bed unit delivering safe, effective care and rehabilitation for acute stroke patients.

The post is 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a 60:40 split between supernumerary and clinical duties, and requires on-duty presence for at least four shifts per week to maintain visibility and standards.

Qualifications

• Nurse with post-registration experience in acute stroke care
• Experience in leading a team in an acute inpatient setting
