University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust currently seeks a Band 7 Trainee ACP or Band 8a to support day-to-day Stroke and TIA Acute Services at Royal Bournemouth Hospital. The post offers progression toward senior advanced practice within a teaching hospital network and a major transformation programme.

The role requires Masters level Advanced Clinical Practice registration or progression, with eligibility for Non-medical Prescriber status and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Professional registration with a relevant professional body.
• English GCSE grade C/4 and Maths GCSE grade C/4 or Functional Skill Level 2.
• Expectation to undertake and complete an MSc level Advanced Clinical Practice.
• Evidence of ability to study at MSc level.
• Non-medical Prescriber.

Responsabilités

• Manage daily Stroke/TIA SDEC and acute stroke care.
• Lead advanced practice caseload with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrate mastery across the four pillars of Advanced Practice (Clinical practice, Leadership and Management, Education, Research).
• Work across UHD sites as needed.
