Job summary

East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust seeks a Clinical Support Worker to join the Stroke Therapy Service at Pendle Community Hospital. The role is a permanent, full-time position (37.5 hours per week) within NHS Band 2. You will support clinicians in therapy sessions, assist with administration, and help maintain equipment and stock.

The post is based at Burnley area sites, with flexible work across Royal Blackburn Hospital and Pendle Community Hospital. DBS checks apply and training is provided.

Qualifications

• GCSE Grade 4 or above in English/Maths or equivalent.
• Care Certificate willing/completed.
• Experience of working in a healthcare or care environment.
• IT skills including Microsoft Office 365.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and administrative support for clinicians and staff.
• Assist with stock management and equipment maintenance.
• Set up clinics and patient groups; support therapy sessions.
• Process documentation and input patient data into electronic systems.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of service areas.
• Support day-to-day running of therapy services within the MDT.
