Job summary

Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Specialist Physiotherapist in Stroke to join the Stroke team at Fairfield General Hospital. You will perform specialist neurological assessments and design individualized treatment plans for stroke patients, on either acute or rehab wards, in a collaborative MDT environment.

The role offers opportunities for professional development, supervision by Band 7 physiotherapists, and a supportive culture with focus on training and service

Qualifications

• Essential: Degree in Physiotherapy and HCPC registration.
• Demonstrated CPD with a detailed personal development portfolio.
• Desirable: relevant postgraduate training in stroke/neurology.

Responsibilities

• Carry out specialist neurological assessments and devise tailored treatment plans for stroke patients.
• Work on acute or rehab wards and collaborate with the MDT to meet SMART goals.
• Support discharges home and engage with community stroke colleagues.
