Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist (Band 5) for a fixed‑term 9‑month contract, working 34 hours per week at Chesterfield.

Join the Stroke and Neurology team to deliver occupational therapy across hyper-acute, acute and rehabilitation stages on the stroke unit as part of a 7‑day service. A Diploma/degree in OT and UK registration are essential, with a supportive MDT and ongoing supervision available.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Occupational Therapy (or equivalent).
• UK professional registration is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide rehabilitation for people with neurological conditions.
• Deliver occupational therapy as part of a 7 day service across stroke pathway (hyper acute, acute and rehabilitation).
• Work in a dedicated OT team alongside a supportive MDT.
• Participate in regular supervision and staff appraisal.
