Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join the Stroke and Neurology team. You will deliver occupational therapy as part of a 7 day service across hyper acute, acute and rehabilitation on the stroke unit.

We are seeking applications from individuals with a passion for providing rehabilitation for people with neurological conditions. You will need to demonstrate time management skills and the ability to be flexible, to be able to manage a mixed acute and rehab caseload in a busy setting. Excellent communication skills will be key, as you will be working with patients and their families in stressful and complex situations. The successful candidate will also demonstrate good interpersonal skills and be committed to team working both within OT and the wider MDT.
Applicants will be supported to develop problem solving and specialist clinical skills essential for meeting the demands of this setting. Regular supervision will be provided and a staff appraisal system is in operation. department.
