The Dudley Group is seeking a Senior Occupational Therapist with substantial post‑graduate experience to lead rapid response, advanced assessment and treatment for complex cases within hospital and community settings.
You will supervise and train therapy staff, including band 5s, assistants and students, and take a coordinating role in delivering a 7‑day therapy service across clinical areas. Relevant NHS governance and leadership experience is essential.
This is a senior occupational therapist post requiring significant post graduate experience. The post holder will be responsible for rapid response, advanced assessment & treatment of complex and /or chronic presentations and will provide highly specialist advice for patients within the hospital and community setting and teaching and training to therapy colleagues working in other clinical areas, and members of the multi-disciplinary team. The post holder will be responsible for supervision and training of other therapy staff including rotational band 5 staff, Therapy assistants and students. The post holder will also undertake a co-ordinating role in the delivery of the therapy service within their specific clinical area on a day-to-day basis and this will include the provision of a 7-day therapy service in our clinical specialities, Please refer to the job description for full details of the main duties and responsibilities that the post holder is required to undertake.
