Job summary

Pulse Healthcare seeks a dedicated Stroke Consultant to join our client’s team in Liverpool, Merseyside, delivering emergency care and leading stroke services across inpatient and outpatient settings.

You will provide clinical leadership, drive national stroke initiatives, participate in governance, audit and research, and contribute to training multidisciplinary teams and medical students to maintain high standards of patient care.

Qualifications

• Registered with the General Medical Council (GMC) is essential.
• Must be on the Specialist Registrar.
• Relevant NHS experience working as a Stroke Consultant.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of emergency care for stroke patients.
• Oversee both inpatient and outpatient stroke services.
• Provide clinical leadership to develop and improve stroke services.
• Participate in clinical governance, audit and research.
• Involve in teaching and training multidisciplinary professionals and medical students.

Rate: £130 per hour

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Stroke Consultant to join our client’s dynamic team in Liverpool, Merseyside. Key Responsibilities:

You will play a pivotal role in the assessment and management of stroke patients. You will lead the delivery of emergency care and oversee both inpatient and outpatient services. Your responsibilities will include providing clinical leadership to continuously develop stroke services, implementing national initiatives to improve stroke care, and actively participating in clinical governance, audit, and research. Additionally, you will be involved in teaching and training multidisciplinary professionals, stroke team members, and medical students, ensuring the highest clinical standards in patient management. Your expertise and dedication will be crucial in driving excellence in stroke care and making a significant impact on patient outcomes.
