Job summary

University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (UCLH) seeks a highly motivated ST3+ Trust Grade Doctor (SPR Level) to join the UCLH Comprehensive Stroke Service at NHNN and UCH in London. The Stroke Fellow rotates through core and specialist roles, participates in governance and teaching, and contributes to a 24/7 mechanical thrombectomy service.

Daily teaching, multidisciplinary collaboration, and opportunities for clinical research are included, with NTNs supervision.

Responsibilities

• Engage in core and specialist stroke rotations, including hyperacute and acute stroke units.
• Participate in governance, audits and quality improvement projects to enhance stroke care.
• Deliver teaching through grand rounds, bedside sessions and weekly tutorials.
• Contribute to pre-hospital stroke video triage and multi‑disciplinary team activities.
