Job summary

University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly motivated ST3+ Trust Grade Doctor (SPR Level) to join the Comprehensive Stroke Service. The role is based at NHNN and UCH in London, offering extensive experience across core and specialist stroke roles and participation in a 24/7 thrombectomy service.

You will rotate through multidisciplinary teams, engage in governance and teaching programs, and contribute to pre-hospital stroke video triage, education, and clinical

Qualifications

• CMT training or equivalent is required.
• MRCP or equivalent qualification is essential.
• Eligible for full GMC registration and hold a current licence to practise.
• Knowledge of confidentiality, data protection, Good Clinical Practice and GDPR.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with neurology teams and NHNN to gain experience in specialist clinics and Neuro-SDEC models.
• Provide high-quality patient care across all stages of stroke management.
• Engage in governance, audits and quality improvement projects to enhance stroke services.
• Participate in teaching, grand rounds and weekly protected teaching sessions.
• Support clinical research at the hyperacute stroke center and contribute to service development.
• Receive supervision and mentor junior doctors and medical students within the stroke service.
