Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a Stroke Audit and Information Facilitator to support the Stroke team in collecting data for national audits and monitoring clinical governance while upholding high standards of patient care.

The role involves inputting and auditing Stroke and Respiratory data, maintaining the Capture Stroke database, and coordinating with coders to ensure accurate diagnoses and timely reporting within the Trust.

Responsibilities

• Input and audit Stroke and Respiratory data and maintain the Capture Stroke database
• Audit data quality, complete exception reporting, input online manual reporting to SSNAP
• Hold monthly reconciliation meetings with coders to ensure accuracy in diagnoses
• Maintain links and relations with other RCHT departments and Primary Care Trusts
• Support Managers, Consultants, Clinicians and staff in Stroke and Eldercare with data services
