Job summary

NHS Forth Valley seeks a Band 5 registered nurse to join the integrated stroke unit at Forth Valley Royal Hospital, Larbert. The role supports rapid stroke assessment and ongoing care in a 23‑bed unit, with opportunities to work across hyperacute, acute, and rehab sections.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team, contribute to the stroke pathway, and develop specialist skills through ongoing training and CPD sessions. PVG suitability and visa guidance are noted in the posting.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with current NMC pin and Band 5 status.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience caring for stroke patients is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assess and deliver high‑quality care to stroke patients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including AAU and ED.
• Support learning through CPD and stroke core competencies.
