Job summary

Pinson TM Limited is recruiting Trainee & Qualified Traffic Management Operatives to work on major UK projects. You will set up temporary traffic signals, manage traffic flow, and ensure safety and compliance with RAMS and HSE at all times.

Ideal candidates have Lantra Traffic Management qualifications, a valid UK driving licence, and the ability to pass Drugs & Alcohol checks, with the right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Lantra approved Traffic Management Qualifications required.
• Right to Work in UK required.
• Be able to pass a Drugs & Alcohol Check.
• Full UK Driving licence with no more than 6 points required.

Responsibilities

• Setting up temporary traffic lights at roads required.
• Managing the traffic flow at the temp traffic lights ensuring the public abide by this.
• Reporting anything necessary to site or operations manager.
• Reliable and dependable with a good attitude to work.
• Being able to read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.
• Maintaining and remove traffic management within the required time scales.
• Setting up traffic lights.
• Assisting with the diversion of traffic.
• Ensuring the team works in a safe and effective manner to achieve optimum output and to the required quality.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act at all times.
• Be aware and comply to the provided RAMS.
• To help with the unloading/loading of materials.
• Ensure safe working practices are followed as outlined in Method Statements and Risk Assessments.
• Reporting plant & vehicle defects.

Lantra approved Traffic Management Qualifications

Right to Work in UK

Be able to pass a Drugs & Alcohol Check

Full UK Driving licence (with no more than 6 points)
