Job summary

Pinson TM Limited is recruiting Trainee and Qualified Traffic Management Operatives across the UK. You will join a team handling streetworks and temporary traffic control at various sites, with opportunities for progression as you gain qualifications.

Role involves setting up traffic signals, managing flow, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. A valid driving licence and RAMS familiarisation are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in traffic management operations, including setting up temporary traffic controls.
• Ability to read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.
• Must pass drugs and alcohol test; right to work in UK and valid driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Setting up temporary traffic lights at roads as required.
• Managing traffic flow at temporary lights and ensuring public compliance.
• Reporting issues to site or operations manager.
• Reading and interpreting CAD traffic management drawings.
• Ensuring safety and compliance with RAMS and Health & Safety at Work Act.
• Ex unloading/loading of materials and assisting with site duties.

We are seeking both operatives and drivers with Traffic Management experience. This is a great opportunity to join one of our leading Traffic Management clients.

Scope of Role:

Trainee Operatives & Qualified Operatives will be working with both the direct labour and sub-contract labour, meeting targets and deadlines on time.

Duties may include:

• Setting up temporary traffic lights at roads required
• Managing the traffic flow at the temp traffic lights ensuring the public abide by this
• Reporting anything necessary to site or operations manager
• Reliable and dependable with a good attitude to work
• Being able to read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.
• Maintaining and remove traffic management within the required time scales.
• Setting up traffic lights.
• Assisting with the diversion of traffic.
• To ensure the team works in a safe and effective manner to achieve optimum output and to the required quality.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act at all times.
• Be aware and comply to the provided RAMS.
• To help with the unloading/loading of materials.
• Ensure safe working practices are followed as outlined in Method Statements and
  Risk Assessments.
• Reporting plant & vehicle defects.
