Job summary

Pinson TM Limited is seeking Trainee & Qualified Traffic Management Operatives to join our team across the UK. The role involves setting up and managing temporary traffic lights and ensuring safe, compliant traffic flow on site, with duties ranging from rail-to-road operations and CAD reading.

The ideal candidate will hold Lantra approved Traffic Management qualifications, a valid UK driving licence, and be able to pass a drugs and alcohol check.

Qualifications

• Lantra traffic management qualifications are required.
• Candidate must pass a drugs and alcohol check.
• Must have right to work in the UK.
• Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Set up temporary traffic lights as required.
• Manage traffic flow at the temporary signals.
• Read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.
• Maintain and remove traffic management within required time scales.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act at all times.
• Report plant and vehicle defects.
• Assist with unloading/loading of materials.

What we are looking for:

We are seeking both operatives and drivers with Traffic Management experience. This is a great opportunity to join one of our leading Traffic Management clients.

All Candidates must have experience in one or more of the below positions:

Scope of Role:

Trainee Operatives & Qualified Operatives will be working with both the direct labour and sub-contract labour, meeting targets and deadlines on time.

Duties may include:

• Setting up temporary traffic lights at roads required
• Managing the traffic flow at the temp traffic lights ensuring the public abide by this
• Reporting anything necessary to site or operations manager
• Reliable and dependable with a good attitude to work
• Being able to read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.
• Maintaining and remove traffic management within the required time scales.
• Setting up traffic lights.
• Assisting with the diversion of traffic.
• To ensure the team works in a safe and effective manner to achieve optimum output and to the required quality.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act at all times.
• Be aware and comply to the provided RAMS.
• To help with the unloading/loading of materials.
• Ensure safe working practices are followed as outlined in Method Statements and
  Risk Assessments.
• Reporting plant & vehicle defects.
